2. What advantages does solid ash wood offer over products made from chipboard?

Solid ash wood is a robust, sustainable and durable material that is ideal for soundproofing products, not only because of its strikingly beautiful appearance, but also because of its density.

Ash wood also does not emit any chemical substances such as VOCs (volatile organic compounds), unlike coated chipboard. Ash wood can even withstand damage caused by rough force or accidents, as its hard, resistant surface means that it does not splinter as easily as chipboard or multilayer boards, for example. 3. Are Shelter Office products available immediately or are there long delivery times?

Our products currently have a standard delivery time of 6-8 weeks, but faster deliveries may be possible depending on availability.

Our goal is to work with you to complete each of your projects within the appropriate time frame, and we will always discuss the exact delivery period transparently with you when you place your order and again shortly before the delivery date.

4. How customisable is a phone booth or meeting booth?

Our products are designed so that our customers benefit from an extremely high level of quality at no extra cost. No unnecessary upselling, no hidden costs – we understand our craft and your requirements in purchasing and office management.

Our box comes standard with adjustable LED lighting, a power connection (230V), an electronically height-adjustable table, castors for moving it around and, of course, powerful ventilation.

However, we leave the colour of the interior up to you. Choose from 8 fabric colours and give your office a special touch. Other fabric colours are also available and can be provided on request. Fabrics of your choice, including those from your own manufacturers, can also be used after consultation and cost agreement.

Both the origin of our ash wood and the production of our products are located within a radius of only 100 km from our headquarters in Zurich, in the heart of Europe. We use Swiss wood for our products, which is certified to meet the (very high) legal requirements for species-appropriate regenerative forestry.

This not only means short transport routes and reduced emissions, but also the avoidance of unnecessary adhesives, chemicals or similar substances that harm the environment.

Furthermore, our products are naturally durable and can be reused by other customers after you have finished using them, so that the value of the wood remains intact even after many years.
